Notice

As announced at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in June, the Christian Science Sentinel will be published this autumn in a new, small size, measuring 5 1/2 x 7 5/8 inches. This smaller Sentinel will contain the same amount of reading material and be printed in the same size of type as appears in the present Sentinel.

This change is being made in accordance with our Leader's instructions that the periodicals be "kept abreast of the times" (Manual, Art. VIII, Sect. 14). The new size will be more convenient to handle and should, therefore, result in a more regular and thorough reading of the Sentinel, as well as a larger circulation and a wider distribution.

The exact date on which this change is to be made will be announced later.

Since the new size Sentinel will not be ready until autumn, it will be necessary to continue the present size for several issues and bind them in with the current volume, No. XLIII.
