It is evident that an effort is being made in your district to discountenance Christian Science by the distribution of a pamphlet which quotes many passages from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, parts them from their context, and attempts to prove their falsity.

It is not possible to deal with all the points presented, but, clearly, one cannot comprehend Christ Jesus' message except as he rises spiritually to glimpse the Master's viewpoint. The material senses cannot bring us into contact with God, for materially we neither see nor hear Deity.

Bible scholars agree that there are two distinct accounts of creation in Genesis, and the Bible student soon realizes this. The first, or spiritual, account reads, "And God said, Let us make man in our image." The second, and contradictory, account states that man was made from dust. Confusion is induced by merging the two accounts.
