It is with a deep sense of gratitue to God that I can truly testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

About seventeen years ago, doctors from coast to coast told me that I had a fibroid tumor. I was having continuous hemorrhages, and on my return home to New York I was taken to our family physician, who upon examining me also advised an immediate operation. Much fear filled my consciousness, but I had begun to study Christian Science, and after a sleepless night I arose, dressed, and decided to take my stand with God. Therefore I called on a consecrated practitioner, who lovingly took up work for me, and by the time I left her office, all fear had gone. The healing gradually took place, though I do not know when, and I thank God the trouble has never returned. It was a slow healing, but one thing I know: I was healed through the application of Christian Science as taught in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

My heart overflows with gratitude, and I send this testimony in the hope that it may reach someone who may be suffering from some ailment. No matter what the belief may be, if we turn to God wholeheartedly, our prayer is answered. Christian Science is the Word of God, and it does heal.
