With gratitude to God for Christian Science, and for what it has done and is doing for me and mine, I send this testimony, hoping it will help others as I have been helped by reading the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel.

I must first express my gratitude for The Christian Science Monitor, and for the help it is giving me in caring for our three children. Loving advice and letters from parents in the Monitor, together with the intelligent, inspiring, loving tone of this wonderful paper, help me daily to demonstrate patience, understanding, and wisdom in the important task of caring for three little girls all under school age. All the beauty and inspiration of our home life is due to the influence of Christian Science, and for this I can never express in words my full gratitude.

There have been dark days of struggle with self-pity and fear, and for some years all seemed to be continuous striving, with little gain in understanding. However, consistent prayer and the determination to hold at all costs to this wonderful revelation of God's goodness, have at last brought me to the place where I know that my only desire is to work as God works, to reflect Him to the best of my ability daily, and thus to be of some use to the Cause of Christian Science. This indeed brings that peace "which passeth all understanding," and makes me a better mother, neighbor, and friend.
