From birth I was afflicted with epilepsy, and much money and effort were expended by my parents in the effort to heal me of this disease. However, no cure could be found until I became interested in Christian Science. I was then a wife and mother. A relative of my husband's, seeing my plight, introduced Christian Science to me. She gave me treatments also, until I could find a practitioner to take my case. After four years of treatment the disease entirely disappeared.
I am deeply grateful for this release from bondage, and for great growth in spiritual understanding. I have been able to help others, and am grateful for the healings I have witnessed. I am grateful to God, to the practitioner, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.—(Mrs.) Flora B. Elliott, Manchester, New Hampshire.
