The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, announces a free public lecture on Christian Science by Mrs. Elizabeth McArthur Thomson, a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in the Church edifice, at Norway, Falmouth, and St. Paul Streets, on Monday evening, April 21, 1941, at 7.45 o'clock. The public is cordially invited.

This lecture will be radiocast by short wave Station WRUL and its companion transmitter, WRUW, Boston, on wave lengths of 49.6 meters (6.04 megacycles) and 25.6 meters (11.73 megacycles), used simultaneously. The beam antennas will be directed south. Both wave lengths should be heard throughout the United States and Canada. Better results may be expected from the 25.6 meters wave length by listeners in the central and western portions of the United States, in South America, Central America. Mexico, the West Indies, Cuba, and Bermuda. Listeners in eastern United States may perhaps find better reception from the 49.6 meters wave length. However, if the broadcast on one wave length is not satisfactory, the other may be tried.

Since the antennas are directed toward the south, the signal strength for listerners in the British Isles will be less than when the antennas are turned in that direction. Reception there, however, is not impossible.
