A number of years ago Christian Science came into my home at a time of great need. A member of my family was greatly helped through its study, and that caused me to take up the study thereof. Since that time I have never relied on material means to meet my needs.

A few years ago, while on my way to work, I slipped on the ice and hurt my right arm. For a few days I used it very little. As the end of our fiscal year was near, I returned to the office and for two weeks did much writing by inserting the pen between the fingers with my left hand. There was every indication that the wrist was broken, for I could not grasp anything in my hand because there seemed to be no connection between the wrist and fingers. When the accident took place I asked a friend, who was a young student of Science, to help me. She and I began to work in Christian Science, and in a few weeks I had normal use of the hand and the healing was complete. No physician saw the arm.

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science, because I realize more fully each day that it is the greatest blessing that has come into my life. I am most grateful that I have learned that God is my Father and Mother. Mrs. Eddy writes in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 151), "He is man's only real relative on earth and in heaven."—(Miss) L.
