In a recent issue an account is given of a meeting at which mention was made of Christian Science in an address.

May I briefly correct the impression given by the speaker and say that Christian Science is not a religion of laissez faire, but is an exact and demonstrable Science. Christian Science lifts the concept of religion out of a nebulous state of belief and places it, where it rightly belongs, in the realm of spiritual Science or demonstrable Truth.

Referring to the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes (No and Yes, p. 33), "It requires sacrifice, struggle, prayer, and watchfulness to understand and demonstrate what these volumes teach, because they involve divine Science, with fixed Principle, a given rule, and unmistakable proof."
