I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of a broken hip bone. According to the doctors it was to have taken twelve weeks to heal. Through reading parts of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed in three weeks. Mrs. Eddy says on page 152, "Truth has a healing effect, even when not fully understood."

Previous to this healing I had had several accidents and was told how Christian Science could protect me daily from such happenings, but to my unawakened thought this seemed hardly reasonable. Now I am very grateful for the protecting power of Christian Science.

Since my study of the textbook I have been healed of chronic colds, which used to be a great hindrance in my theatrical work; also of shyness, bad traits of disposition, fainting spells, and many other difficulties.
