After the Storm

SWIFT is the wind that sweeps the sky;
From over the hill the rain swirls by.
Yet afterward the atmosphere,
Thus purified, is crystal clear.

When through the heart the wholesome wind

When all the mental atmosphere
Is clarified, His truths appear.

Fear not an altered human thing,
For God is Life. And if we cling
To Him until all fear has passed,
Unchanging good is seen at last.
