In sincere gratitude for the health and happiness which have come to me since I became a student of Christian Science, I wish to give this testimony. In the past years I have received many healings, although I did not turn to Science for physical benefit. My one desire was to find God.

I am grateful for the healing of financial lack, which was one of my first demonstrations in Christian Science. I have been healed of many ills, such as severe heart trouble, third degree burns, ivy poisoning, constipation, headaches, dizziness, hot flushes, and hemorrhage, also stomach poisoning, through which I lost the use of my limbs. I was healed of an attack of hiccups, which resulted in paralysis from my waist up, and caused my jaws to lock. I was healed of a sense of desolation and sorrow over the loss of three loved ones. Many of these healings have come about through my own understanding of God's ever-presence.

I am indeed grateful for God, the one creator, and for the life and works of Christ Jesus. I am especially grateful for Mrs. Eddy's great love for mankind. This love enabled her to give Science and Health to a world vastly in need of Christian Science. I shall never cease to be grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the privilege of class instruction. I wish to express profound gratitude for the Bible, because heretofore it had been a closed book to me, and for all the literature.
