Truth Conquers All

Should fear and doubt assail my thought
To hold me in their power,
I'll turn me to the God of hosts,
For He is my strong tower.

Should pride and sloth present themselves,
And tempt me sore to yield,
I'll listen to the Word of Truth;
It is my strength and shield.

Should sin and death approach my door,
And threaten there to stay,
I'll pray to hear the voice of Love:
The Christ is here, alway!
