In order to remove any misunderstanding in regard to classifying Christian Science with "other movements," I should be glad to be allowed to quote from the published works of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. On page 64 of "Miscellaneous Writings" Mrs. Eddy says: "The ethics which guide thought spiritually must benefit every one; for the only philosophy and religion that afford instruction are those which deal with facts and resist speculative opinions and fables." Christian Science will, therefore, be recognized as separate from all other movements, because it accepts, as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 471), "the spirituality of the universe" as "the only fact of creation."
