Mrs. Eddy states in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 260), "Science reveals the possibility of achieving all good, and sets mortals at work to discover what God has already done." The study and application of Christian Science have awakened me in some measure to behold God's complete spiritual creation. It is for the spiritual understanding thus acquired that I am most grateful to Christian Science. The healing Science of the Christ, Truth, has brought many blessings to our family, and I wish to express my gratitude.

I have been a member of the Christian Science church for several years, but all my life I have relied solely upon Christian Science to meet my needs, and it has healed me of a number of illnesses. When I was a child, several diseases were overcome through the application of this new-old truth. Christian Science also healed me of acute spinal trouble. A practitioner was called and began work at once. I lost control of muscular action. For two weeks I was in this condition. Nourishment was taken entirely in liquid form. The practitioner sat by my side and, when the corporeal senses evidenced much discord, he spoke the truth to me, telling of divine Mind's power to lift me into newness of health. I was made to realize the necessity of facing the error squarely—of utilizing radically the power of the one omnipotent, omniactive Mind.

My awakening from the dream to a more perfect concept of God's man was a gradual process, and the body responded accordingly. I was placed in a sitting posture, and each day I was able to sit up for a little longer period. The Bible and the Christian Science literature were faithfully read to me. After four weeks the symptoms began to give way before the consecrated application of Christian Science. The pain lessened, and in due time vanished. I had to learn to walk again, a few steps at a time; and as the truth of man's spiritually derived activity continued to unfold to my consciousness, the complete demonstration was made. I was finally able to walk perfectly and without any material support.
