I am very grateful for Christian Science. It came to me at a time when I greatly needed it. I was in bondage to nervous indigestion, and physicians were unable to cure me.

A woman who came to be my companion told me of her healing through Christian Science. With my consent she engaged a Christian Science practitioner to help me. The healing was slow. The difficulty disturbed me for several years, but I finally became strong and was able to work and to go wherever I wanted to go. In the meantime, however, there were many other healings. One of these was my daughter's healing of St. Vitus's dance. Doctors had given this case up, saying there was nothing they could do. I applied the little knowledge of Science that I had, in the best way I understood, and in six weeks my daughter was healed.

Christian Science has healed me of inflammation of the bladder, colds, a broken wrist, sprained ankle, fractured elbow, and a badly crushed thumb. Another time my arm was drawn into the wringer of the electric washer and badly injured. A Christian Science practitioner was engaged to help me, and in a short time the bleeding stopped. In a week the arm was well.
