In a letter in a recent issue, "X. Y. Z." states that he "would like to know if any readers possess any evidence of the truth of Christian Science with regard to the removal of disease."

Thousands of happy, healthy, normal people in all parts of the world are now living witnesses to the healing efficacy of Christian Science, and joyfully express their gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this new-old religion and system of spiritual healing. For Christian Science heals in the manner described in the Bible when "Jesus went about all Galilee ... healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." This same system of healing was practiced by the disciples and the early Christians for approximately three centuries after the ascension of Jesus.
