Be not afraid to testify
That He, the Lord of hosts, is nigh,
The Saviour and Deliverer
Of every faithful worshiper—
Who will not let the sparrow fall,
Whose sheltering hand is over all.
Be not afraid, nor loath to bear
Witness to Truth, for no despair,
No sense of error, can misguide
The heart that Love has satisfied.
Then rise and shine, and let thy light
Dispel the falsity of night,
And He who watches o'er His own
Shall bring thee peace thou hast not known.
