In gratitude for the benefits I have received from the study and application of Christian Science, and with the hope of helping others, I send my testimony.
I am happy to tell of my introduction to Christian Science. In great sorrow I had turned to God for guidance. I soon met a Christian Science practitioner, and after talking with her awhile, I asked for a treatment. Going to work that afternoon, I felt a great mental and physical change come over me, and new hope appeared. I walked with a great sense of joy and freedom. I soon found that I was completely healed of stomach and other organic troubles, which had been of long duration. I am most grateful for the immediately awakened desire to understand how this healing came about and to learn how to help others as I had been helped.
After I had read and pondered Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, in connection with the greatest of all books, the Bible, the appetite for strong drink, tobacco, tea, and coffee left me, never to return.
