Christian Science is a religion of love
Christian Science is a religion of love. With a heart full of love and gratitude I wish to express my deep reverence and sincere gratitude for all that Christian Science has meant to me.
I became a student of this Science about ten years ago, at a time of great sorrow. For even the slight understanding of God's ever-presence which I gained at this time, I shall never cease to be grateful.
When sorrow again came to me in the passing of a dear one, I proved that when we turn unreservedly to God for help and guidance, He is indeed "our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble;" and I experienced in a degree the peace "which passeth all understanding." I am very grateful for the loving help of a practitioner during this time, and for the kindness expressed by friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," has been a comfort and blessing to me times without number.
