Through the unselfed love of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, my entire outlook has been gradually changed. Material beliefs are disappearing from my consciousness, and every step points Godward. I have awakened somewhat from the mortal dream, and have begun to "arise and go to my father." This awakening process has covered years; but the love of good has always proved a protection and a deliverance.

My first healing was of sick headache, and occurred when I was a schoolgirl. It came through my reading a page in Science and Health, and was instantaneous and beautiful. I have seen pneumonia, influenza, abscess, mumps, poisoning, deafness, physical collapse, fallen arches, burns, neuralgia, ptomaine poisoning, broken bones, and fatigue healed. All these difficulties were overcome quickly, with one exception—the sense of deafness, which seemed to require more work. This, however, was completely healed when fear was overcome.

It is a joyful privilege to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, to teach in the Sunday school, and to have had class instruction. The Christian Science periodicals are healing agents in our home, and we are deeply grateful for them.
