Sincere gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, impels me to share an experience of healing.

About twenty years ago I was taken with a severe pain in my head, which developed into an acute case of influenza and pneumonia. A coma followed. Medical aid was solicited and kind service rendered. When the physician had lost hope of my recovery, a Christian Science practitioner was summoned and lovingly took up the work. The calling of a practitioner was recommended by a Christian Science friend who was employed in my husband's office, and who had seen the great fear which had been manifested.

As is so often observed, "man's extremity is God's opportunity"—opportunity to prove the healing power of Truth. My first request, after coming out of the coma, was for a Bible. This in itself was a proof of a spiritual healing, for my thoughts were already on a higher level, and I could not return to my former thinking.

After a struggle with error came my healing, poise, serenity, and an earnest desire to be active in my Father's business.—(Mrs.) Dorothy Ogden Garrison, Keyport, New Jersey.
