The many blessings I have received through Christian Science, whenever I have applied it as I was taught in the Christian Science Sunday School, are far too numerous to list here, but gratitude prompts me to mention some of those which I have experienced in the past few years.

Upon graduating from high school, I was faced with the prevailing mortal beliefs that I was too young and inexperienced to expect to find immediate employment, when there were so many experienced people with college education who could not find work. Error in its usual forms of discouragement, resentment, and self-pity had to be destroyed, and replaced with gratitude, love, and the right understanding of mand and of his relationship to God. Truly I am grateful for the position which came to me as a result of knowing this, but immeasurably more so for the added confidence and trust in God's goodness, and the spiritual unfoldment that accompanied it.

When my young brother had been sick for two days with a fever, I finally opened the Bible to the account of Jesus' healing of Peter's wife's mother. I read this to him; then, together, we declared over and over again "the scientific statement of being," found on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, each time more understandingly, till the lad fell asleep. This took place in the evening, and the next morning he awoke, completely free, and in the happiest of spirits.
