Out of deep gratitude to God I should like to give a testimony regarding the wonderful healing of our three-year-old daughter.

In February, 1938, she fell ill with a high fever. The doctor who was summoned diagnosed the trouble as purulent pyelitis. He did not undertake treatment, on account of the seriousness of the illness, but had the child taken to the city hospital. There she was examined by the head doctor and X-rayed. The resulting verdict was tuberculosis of the lungs, purulent pleurisy, and pyelitis.

We went with heavey and sorrowful hearts to my husband's parents and brought them the sad news. But my mother-in-law comforted us and said: "Our little Ursula will not die. We will not give up the child as easily as that. God will heal her." My mother-in-law thereupon sent a dispatch late at night to a Christian Science practitioner whom she knew personally in the next city. Through the work of this loving practitioner the child was immediately healed. The child remained free from fever, to the amazement of all the doctors and nurses. She stayed in the hospital three more days merely for observation.
