Because it is now many years since a testimony of my first healings was printed in The Christian Science Journal, it seems right to express my gratitude again.

For over thirty years I have enjoyed the untold blessings that come to us when the teachings of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, are honestly applied. During a busy life in America, I was frequently ill, and unable to fulfill the calls made upon me. Since the doctors said I should never be well, my husband brought me to England, where I began to study Christian Science. I heard of it through my mother-in-law and her friends. The little I grasped saved me from severe disaster when our first child was born, in spite of the doctor's pessimism. Many ailments of long standing were healed, and progress in health and contentment was steady. After some study and practice of Mrs. Eddy's teaching, all sorts of medical laws were reversed when our second child was born, and after years of suffering my health became radiant.
