Introductions to Lectures
Corvallis, Oregon (First Church).
Lecturer: Paul A. Harsch; introduced by W. Dorr Legg, who said:—
When Christ Jesus, the Founder of Christianity, preached to the multitudes, there were many who allowed a sense of personality to blind them to his message. They accused him of stirring up the people, and said that he healed through Beelzebub. This misapprehension of his life and character prevented them from understanding his teachings. Thus they cut themselves off from the enjoyment of the very blessings he labored so faithfully to bring to mankind.
