Sunday School Notes and Comments

The writer was assigned to a class of girls of college age. The first Sunday it was disclosed to the teacher that each member of the class had forgottent the Ten Commandments and the spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer. The thought was expressed that these subjects belonged to the infant classes. Work was started to correct this impression, and a commandment was studied each Sunday along with the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly until the entire ten were covered. Then the interpretation of the Lord's Prayer, given on pages 16 and 17 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was thoroughly reviewed; and its study has been continued ever since.

It was also found that the pupils had never read any biography of Mrs. Eddy, and had apparently forgotten what they had been told about her. It was recommended by the teacher that they borrow copies of one of these biographies from the lending library in the Sunday school. They all did so, and one girl said her father had also read the biography when she had it at home.
