May I take the liberty of correcting a mistaken impression...

May I take the liberty of correcting a mistaken impression regarding Christian Science presented by an article appearing in a recent issue?

When a Christian Scientist is confronted with a condition of sickness or pain common to mortals, he does not endeavor merely to forget it. He endeavors to destroy it, and does destroy it, by knowing that pain and sickness, with all other discordant conditions which seem real to mortals, have in fact no place in the perfect creation of God, who is Life, Truth, and Love.

He knows how to overcome pain and disease by the realization and knowledge that the real man, the man of God's perfect creation, does not know pain or inharmony of any kind, but is forever in a state of perfect health.
