With a great desire to express gratitude and a wish to pass the glad tidings on, I give this testimony.

I was a drug addict, using ten to fifteen grains of morphine a day. The habit started when I was seventeen and continued for twenty-three years, bringing in its wake all of its attendant evils. I was under various treatments at different times, but it seemed to be the same old story. "Once a drug addict, always a drug addict," I was told.

I finally became ill with pus colitis, gall bladder trouble, liver trouble, chronic constipation, and a terrifying nerve condition. I consulted different physicians, but they could not help me. At this time, when I had given up hope in medical help, a friend asked me why I did not try Christian Science. So in my great need I turned from man-made laws to the law of God, and found that in reality there is no underworld. There is only the world of God's creation.
