With approbation I have seen the result of the call for moral and spiritual rearmament. ... It is uplifting to know the same wish fills us all: to preserve the blessing of peace.

The desire for peace links all peoples. Yet, though this is coupled with the reinforcement of our military strength, it is not enough; if peace is to be permanent, it must be upheld by the thought affirmed in the call.
