In the Bible we read, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." It is indeed a privilege to express gratitude for the good which I have experienced though the study of Christian Science.

Several years ago I underwent an operation for a ruptured appendix; gangrene set in and, although everything possible was done medically, I continued to grow worse. The thought came to me to ask for Christian Science help. Absent treatment was lovingly given, and two or three hours later I was entirely healed of this condition.

Before I started the study of Christian Science, I had for some years suffered from severe colds, sore eyes, and chilblains. The last-mentioned condition was instantaneously healed by a practitioner, and the other manifestations disappeared when I started to read the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I have also been healed of sick headaches and many undesirable traits of character.
