According to a recent issue of Adresseavisen, a professor has recently made the following statement: "Christian Science says: Believe you are well and you are well, believe you have no sin and you have no sin."

If the professor had had firsthand knowledge of Christian Science, he would never have put forth such a statement. There is no foundation for it. In Christian Science the sick are healed and sinners are converted through prayer, in full accordance with the Bible and with the example given us by Jesus, by the apostles, and by the first Christians.

It is a great mistake to believe that Christian Scientists ignore or tolerate sin, or that they do not strive for regeneration. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, on pages 241 and 242 of her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," writes: "It is 'easier for a camel to through through the eye of a needle,' than for sinful beliefs to enter the kingdom of heaven, eternal harmony. Through repentance, spiritual baptism, and regeneration, mortals put off their material beliefs and false individuality. It is only a question of time when 'they shall all know Me [God], from the least of them unto the greatest.'"
