"Trustingly continue to know"
If healing in Christian Science seems to come to us slowly, if some worthy objective seems elusive and remains just out of our reach, or if the subtle suggestion presents itself that any condition, financial or physical, is beyond the help of the healing Christ, what are we to do about it?
Error, perhaps, will bring up various aggressive suggestions. It may try to convince us that our case is a little different from that of others, who have found deliverance from like conditions. It may argue that our understanding is not sufficient to meet this particular need, that we are not spiritually minded enough, not good enough; that perhaps we have waited too long, and that the time is too limited in which to demonstrate our birthright of perfect man.
Let us not be deceived by these frayed arguments! They are oftentimes error's last stand against the ever-operative, unchanging law of God, good. At the moment when these arguments of the continuity of evil seem to be screaming their loudest, the error in thought may be exposed and divested of presence and power through the understanding and application of God's law.
