There
are two events in history which have made a profound impression upon human thought, although mankind as a whole has not yet come to appreciate their full import—the crucifixion and the bodily resurrection of the great Master of Christianity, Christ Jesus.
If
healing in Christian Science seems to come to us slowly, if some worthy objective seems elusive and remains just out of our reach, or if the subtle suggestion presents itself that any condition, financial or physical, is beyond the help of the healing Christ, what are we to do about it?

a surge of gratitude wells up in our hearts when we reflect upon the divine wisdom which inspired our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, to establish the Wednesday evening testimony meetings! Christian Scientists bear witness to the fact that many times they have gone to these meetings sorrowful and heavy with suggestions of doubt, discouragement, or physical suffering, and have come away refreshed and strengthened; and in numerous instances they have experienced spiritual uplifting, and physical and moral healings during the services.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude to God, the Giver of all good, for the many blessings that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science as taught by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in Science and Health and her other writings, that I desire to give this testimony.
Gratitude moves me to express in words, be they ever so inadequate, the untold joy and happiness that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science.
For all the years of blessings and benefits derived from the study and practice of Christian Science, I should have long since proffered my testimony, for I realize, as never before, that I could hardly have withstood all the conflicting experiences and prejudices that have confronted me through these years without Christian Science.
