Christmas Bells

Ring, Christmas bells, ring loud and clear,
Ring words of Truth to far and near;
'Tis Christmas Day—a babe is born!
Ring clearer, bells, ring soft, ring loud,
Dispel the dark and misty cloud,
Ring in the truth, ring in the morn.

Ring, Christmas bells, ring out his name,
Ring 'cross the land his deeds of fame.
'Tis Christmas when Love is revealed!
Then ring, ye bells, the whole year long,
Each day ring out a sweeter song
Of sickness, sin, and sorrow healed.

Ring, Christmas bells, glad tidings bring,
In music pure your message sing
Of love and power, of joy and peace.
When Christ is found, 'tis Christmas Day,
And Christ, or Truth, is here alway!
Ring, Christmas bells, ring, never cease!
