I wish to express my gratitude for the help which Christian Science has been to me. My mother began its study when I was a few months old, after she had witnessed my instantaneous healing of a fever. She faithfully adhered to the teachings, as she understood them, and we had many healings in our home. I was healed of rheumatism, blood poisoning, scarlet fever, and numerous children's diseases. I am especially grateful for the help I have received during the past few years, when members of my immediate family passed on.

I am grateful for the privilege of assisting in the work of a branch church, and for the lessons I learn from this work. I feel that in being willing to work for the organization which Mrs. Eddy established I am giving expression to the gratitude I feel for her gift of Christian Science to mankind.
