It is with the deepest, heartfelt gratitude that I wish to acknowledge the power of God, divine Love, to heal and bless mankind.

Christian Science treatment was taken up for me when I was about three months old, because I had been given up by the family physician. I slept through the whole night for the first time since birth. But it was not until I was fourteen years of age that my parents and I began to study in earnest, and I was then enrolled in the Sunday school. From that time on my progress has been steady, and I am grateful for the many healings of physical and financial troubles which have resulted. The most beautiful healing I ever experienced was that of grief and sorrow at the passing on of my parents. Words can never express what this meant to me.

Four years ago, after being out of employment for over two years, I was led to advertise in our Monitor for a certain type of work. My advertisement was answered, and for four years I have been joyously filling the place which was given to me. I have received "good measure, pressed down, ... and running over." My growth during the two years before this place opened was steady, and many faults of character and disposition were overcome, for which I am more than grateful. I am also grateful for the many activities of our movement and for the spiritual inspiration which I have derived from them. I could not begin to tell of the many blessings which class instruction and membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church have brought to me. I can only pray that I may, in the words of Paul, more and more "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God." I know that with the teachings of Christ Jesus, and of our beloved Leader, which make plain and open up the way, I shall progress to this prize.
