I should like to express my gratitude for all Christian Science has done for us.

My small daughter was very badly scalded by boiling water. The child was in a terrible state, and I was terrified. A neighbor who came in sent me running to telephone for a doctor, because she was sure it was a serious case. As I ran, the telephone number of a Christian Science practitioner flashed through my mind, and I rang it, asking her for help instead of the doctor. Instantly my fear left me. When I reached home, I took the child in my arms, and she went to sleep. She awoke, bright and happy, and in a few days was back at school, entirely healed. A friend who knows nothing of Christian Science kept worrying me with the suggestion that the child was sure to be permanently badly scarred. But the practitioner pointed out to me that error can have no history, and the child's skin is now as clear and smooth as ever it was, without a mark of any kind.

We have received help in many other ways; sickness and business worries have been cleared away through knowledge of Truth, and the practitioner's help has always been lovingly and willingly given.
