I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, and for all the blessings I have received. I had been in poor health for a long time, and had been treated by two prominent physicians for several months, when I was told that only by undergoing an operation could I ever be well again. This, however, was not necessary, because Christian Science was presented to me, and I began having treatments from a practitioner. In several months I was healed.

About three years later I had two further healings, one was of quinsy with complications, and the other was of all the symptoms of peritonitis. About five weeks elapsed each time before my healing came, but I never doubted for one minute that I should be healed. I have always been very grateful that my family, who were not Christian Scientists, did not interfere in any way. These experiences occurred many years ago, and since that time I have not spent one day in bed on account of illness. I have been healed of many ailments, including extreme nervousness, and colds and coughs from which I had formerly suffered the greater part of each winter. Other members of my family have also been beautifully healed.

I am very grateful for having learned about God and man's relationship to Him, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for class instruction. I am grateful to God, to our dear Leader, and to all who have helped me. My desire is to learn more of this truth, and to live it better in my daily life.
