Gratitude

GILBERT STUART WATSON

Our Father-Mother, God of all,
Thy blessings from above
Have filled our hearts with gratitude
And clothed us with Thy love.

Thou hast us taught of heavenly ways,
Of substance, Truth—all good;
Hast given to us each perfect grace
For our celestial food.

Through wisdom Thou hast shown to us,
And safely led us o'er
The straight and narrow path of life
To Truth's eternal door.

We thank Thee, Father-Mother God,
For Thy immortal plan,
As through the radiance of Thy light
We see the perfect man.
