With much love and thankfulness to God, to our Leader, and to the steadfast practitioners who so lovingly support us in times of need and help us to keep to the path of the Way-shower, and in appreciatoin of the Christian Science movement and all its activities, I gratefully offer this testimony.

About seven years ago I read the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, for the first time. I was not seeking physical healing, but was desirous of finding the deeper meaning of life. Before I had finished reading the book, a very unpleasant nasal condition, for which I had undergone an operation with little success, was healed. Five years ago I passed successfully through the experience of childbirth, without resorting to any medical aid or anesthetics. For some time all had not seemed to be well with me; but through the courage manifested by the practitioner and the patience of the Christian Science nurse, and by managing to hold firmly to Truth myself, this discordant condition was overcome and the birth was normal.

Ten months later, whilst we were visiting the home of a relative, the baby swallowed a pin. She had been placed on the floor of a room to play, and when I picked her up I noticed two pins in the carpet were she had been playing. This was on a Monday. During the following days the child seemed unhappy, and on Saturday morning I telephoned for help, which was immediately given. After lunch that day a pin passed away from the child's body. We were indeed grateful for this proof of Love's power. Later on, through Christian Science treatment, this little girl was healed in a few days of what appeared to be a severe attack of measles. We are also grateful for this healing.
