It is with great joy that I express gratitude for the many blessings which I have received through the study and application of Christian Science.

Several years ago I was badly burned on the face, neck, and shoulders when a gas oven in my kitchen exploded. The pain was intense, the eyelashed and eyebrows were gone, and the hair at the front of my head was so badly burned that it came out in large quantities. I immediately called a practitioner for help, and within one hour all pain had disappeared and I experienced no further discomfort. Two weeks later all trace of the burns had vanished. Several weeks later I met a woman who had seen me two days after the accident and she was greatly surprised not to see any scars, since she had felt certain I should always carry them.

This testimony would not be complete without expressing gratitude for the Sunday school. My little girl, who was then about two and a half years old, and had been attending about Sunday school for only two weeks, realized that something had occurred. She ran to a table in the living room, picked up my books, opened them, and said, "Mommy, I find God is Love."
