I am sending this testimony with the hope that it may be of help. I myself have been encouraged by reading the testimonies of others for many years.

I came into Christian Science over twenty years ago for the healing of a so-called incurable disease. A practitioner gave me treatment, and although I was helped immensely, owing to my fear that the condition might return, the complete healing was many years in coming. After much study and the help of numerous practitioners, the mental picture was finally destroyed and the healing come. I have been overjoyed to experience from that time on a peace of mind, both while at work and at play; also a knowledge that I am able to do anything that is expected of me.

I have been blessed with many other healings, for which I am also grateful. Fear of sunstroke, loss of consciousness, a sense of lack, the smoking habit, tonsillitis, and many other difficulties too numerous to mention have been overcome. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for the privilege of teaching in Sunday school, for other activities in a branch church, and for a clearer understanding of how to love my fellow man, as a result of class instruction.—M.
