It is with heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful, clear, spiritual teaching of Christian Science that I send this testimony of its unfailing healing power. It has been my joy and privilege to witness some very beautiful healings through the consecrated work of practitioners.

I became interested in Christian Science when I was a probationer nurse in a general hospital, and later I took the midwifery training. Through this practical training I have been able to serve as a Christian Science nurse. I have witnessed cases of painless childbirth; and at times serious difficulties which have arisen have been beautifully met, and harmonious conditions have been established for both mother and child. The unfolding consciousness of the perfect spiritual idea, apart from all materiality, is a source of continual inspiration in this work and blesses us all.

In loving gratitude for the unselfed love of a practitioner who helped me recently, I write this testimony of the healing of broken bones. I met with an accident which, apart from minor injuries, broke both bones of the upper right I was taken to hospital, where the arm was put into what is known as an extension, I was kept in bed like this for sixteen or seventeen days. Then I asked that the arm be taken down. The two doctors asked me if I realized that I might have a useless right arm the rest of my days, and if I was prepared to sign the form that I took full responsibility. I replied that I knew that bones would unite, and I was quite prepared to sign the form and leave the hospital. I did so with the arm in a sling, a simple bandage wound round, and a thin strip of something to keep it in place.
