The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Wichita, Kansas (Second Church).
Lecturer: John Henry Weer; introduced by Mrs. Elsie Parker Dumbauld, who said:—
When I was a child, eleven years old, I lived in a very small town where, if Christian Science was mentioned at all, it was with ridicule and scorn. At that time I was ill with a disease which physicians were unable to cure. They quite frankly told my parents that they could do no more for me, and that I should have to remain in that pitiful condition, unless in years to come I might outgrow it.
