Our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, has given to the world the most priceless gift since the advent of Christianity, as taught and practiced by Christ Jesus. Christian Science is ever available, certain in its operation when clearly understood, and simple enough to be put into practice by all.

More than fifteen years ago I began the study of Christian Science, and for some seven or eight years the understanding which I had acquired during that time was ample to solve all my problems readily and completely. However, about nine years ago, my husband passed on very suddenly, and I found myself with our ten-months-old son to care for, and also a business of nation-wide scope to carry on. The false sense of responsibility which I personally assumed soon made an invalid of me.

I have always been grateful at no time did I feel that Christian Science could not help me, but fully realized that with sufficient faithfulness in applying it to the situation, the seeming burdens could be lifted. The kindly practitioner to whom I appealed, urged me to shake off the false concept I was entertaining of my own responsibilities and to listen to God's directing. Gradually, my thought began to clear, and I commenced to see that all was well. Our little son's growth and progress were most satisfactory, and at the age of two years he entered the Christian Science Sunday School, where he is learning to solve his own little problems.
