In your issue of June 25, a certain clergyman again shows that he fails to understand the teachings of Christ Jesus in regard to the unreality of matter, sin, disease, and all evil.

He asks what I mean by the word "real," and evidently considers that "real" which is palpable to the five physical senses. The best answer to his query is found in the fourth chapter of II Corinthians, "The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Christ Jesus proved that the understanding of spiritual reality destroys the appearances known as sin, sickness, death, which seem so persistently to separate us from the kingdom of Spirit and Truth. He said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The truth can make free only from what is untrue and therefore unreal.
