In your issue of June 25, a certain clergyman again shows that he fails to understand the teachings of Christ Jesus in regard to the unreality of matter, sin, disease, and all evil.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, announces a series of suburban lectures on Christian Science by Peter B.
In gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the blessings received through the application of the truth as revealed in Christian Science, I submit this testimony.
Christian Science came to my attention about twenty years ago in a mountain community in the western United States through the teacher of the little schoolhouse.
That environment does not govern man, that material surroundings have no power over his well-being—if he gratefully accepts his God-given heritage of mental freedom and earnestly holds to it—I have had conclusive proof.
I know that Christian Science is the truth about God.
It is twenty-five years since I first heard of Christian Science, and my deep gratitude for the many instances of healing I have had impels me to share my experiences, in the hope that they will help those struggling with false beliefs.
I think I am most grateful for Christian Science because it has made the wonderful promises of the Bible glow with reality.
Because I have gained much from reading the testimonies, I wish to add my share.
I should like to express my sincere thanks for the help which I have received through Christian Science.
