With unspeakable gratitude I recount my blessings and rejoice that Christian Science found me, and that I found it when still a child, through the visits of my mother's brother and the willingness of my parents to accept Truth into our home.

The study of Christian Science and the patient help of a practitioner healed me of an agonizing nervous disorder. In 1930, certain symptoms made me fear a recurrence, but the relapse I feared never took place. That, and other healings through Christian Science since then, have been permanent, and my health now is, and during the past seven years has been, better than at any previous time.

Through the ministrations of Christian Science my family and I have experienced protection and blessings, varied and continuous. I have grown from one delightful field of school work into another, with kind and helpful associates making possible the successful assuming of ever-widening responsibilities.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in one of its branches. Before the organization of the society in my home community, I enjoyed membership in a branch church in a neighboring city. In church and society, I took part in almost every phase of church service, including Sunday school work. For these opportunities for spiritual growth, and for all the other Christian Science activities which our Leader provided, I am deeply grateful.

Due to certain experiences in my childhood and later years, I became burdened with a number of groundless fears, which I unwittingly enlarged by undue and anxious thought. A continuance of this wrong thinking would have been disastrous to peace, health, and happiness, but Christian Science showed me how baseless is fear by proving to me, time after time, through innumerable healings, the all-power of Love. One by one, my foolish, tormenting fears have been dissolved, and I have rejoiced immeasurably in that freedom of which our beloved Leader speaks on page 227 of Scienceand Health when, after denouncing all oppression and slavery, she says: "God made man free. ... Christian Science raises the standard of liberty and cries: 'Follow me! Escape from the bondage of sickness, sin, and death!' ... Citizens of the world, accept the 'glorious liberty of the children of God,' and be free! This is your divine right."

My gratitude for class instruction by a loyal student of Mrs. Eddy increases with a growing appreciation of its priceless value, as year by year the Association meetings recall and impress the rich blessing provided by our Leader. It is impossible even to begin to enumerate all the healings that I have experienced and am experiencing through Christian Science; nor is it possible to withhold longer an acknowledgment of the good received from God; from Jesus, our Way-shower; and from Mrs. Eddy, our Leader.
