Who
has not awakened in the stillness of an early summer dawn and presently heard one tiny bird voice begin a paean of praise, then another and another, until the whole atmosphere was ringing with a song of joy, as gradually the darkness lifted and the day fully dawned?
While
she was struggling in vain to solve a problem in the middle of the night, the attention of a student of Christian Science was suddenly drawn to the cheery, sweet notes of a little canary bird singing in the darkness of an adjoining room.
Much
effort has been put forth throughout the centuries to teach human beings how to gain spirituality, but there still remains a general misunderstanding about it.

Christian Science is founded upon the Bible, and in accordance therewith teaches that there is but one omnipotent and omnipresent God, who is infinite good, exhaustless Love, limitless Life; that He is Spirit, Soul, Principle, Mind, Truth, and that man is created in the image and likeness of God, as stated in the first chapter of Genesis.

In I Peter we read: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
With unspeakable gratitude I recount my blessings and rejoice that Christian Science found me, and that I found it when still a child, through the visits of my mother's brother and the willingness of my parents to accept Truth into our home.
Christian Science came into my life over thirty years ago through my mother's healing of Bright's disease, after she had been a hopeless invalid for years.
