The issue of your paper of August 10 carries a reference to some remarks once made by a West London coroner, relative to the teachings of Christian Science. As these remarks convey to the public an erroneous impression of Christian Science, please permit me in fairness the courtesy of your columns to reply that Christian Scientists are not in any doubt as to where their teaching is leading them. It is leading them out of darkness into "the light of the glorious gospel of Christ." It is leading them from sin to holiness, from sickness to health, from matter to Spirit, from earth to heaven. The teaching of Christian Science is this—to love God supremely, and our neighbor as ourself.
